Cajun Fest brings in nearly $1.4 million in economic impact

WICHITA FALLS, TX (TNN) - Officials with Downtown Wichita Falls Development have released the numbers from Cajun Fest.

More than 5,500 people attended the event in downtown on the last weekend in April. The event itself brought in $1.397 million in economic impact.

There were 175 volunteers from Sheppard Air Force Base, Midwestern State University, and the community.

Officials said Cajun Fest along with the St. Patrick’s Day Festival have brought in a combined $2.72 million in economic impact for 2019, this far.
