WICHITA FALLS, TX (TNN) - Widespread heavy rain is now out of the forecast but slight rain chances remain this afternoon and tonight. A stray thunderstorm wouldn’t surprise us, especially over Oklahoma. The second half of the week is going to be much different than the first thanks to a cold front that will sweep through late tonight.
North winds and much cooler temperatures await us beginning Thursday when highs will be in the 60s, nearly 20 degrees cooler than today. In fact, high temperatures might be in the 60s Friday and Saturday too. There is a slight chance of showers Friday night into Saturday. Mother’s day looks fantastic with partly cloudy skies and highs in the 70s.
