WICHITA FALLS, TX (TNN) - TxDOT crews say they will be closing lanes of Interstate 44 Thursday morning in order to replace several overhead signs.
The work will begin at around 8:00 a.m. in the northbound lanes of I-44 near Old Iowa Park Road.
Crews will be replacing overhead signage near the Maurine Street Exit and at Spur 325.
Three lanes will be closed at Maurine Street, however, drivers will still be able to exit at Maurine just past the signs.
Crews will then replace the Sheppard Air Force Base sign at Spur 325. This work will require the two right lanes to be closed.
TxDOT officials say the work is dependent on good weather and could be delayed due to rain or winds.
