WICHITA FALLS, TX (TNN) - Friday wraps up Travel and Tourism Week.
On Friday, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. the Texas Travel Information Center off I-44 in Wichita Falls will be filled with several of the area’s attractions.
You can find out what Wichita Falls and the rest of Texoma has to offer visitors. When people visit the area it brings in big bucks to the local economy.
“We just invite our tourism partners to set up out there and they’re able to tell people who stop in about their different attractions and their locations. We’re there to greet those visitors. They have a lot of people that stop in there,” Lindsay Barker with the Conventions and Visitors Bureau said.
This year’s theme for Travel and Tourism Week has been Travel Matters. In Wichita Falls, travel dollars totaled more than $17 million from 2017 to 2018.
