WICHITA FALLS, TX (TNN) - In this week’s forecast we see a turn toward the warmer side of May with above normal temperatures expected, especially for the second half of the week. A ridge of high pressure will build between now and Wednesday. Under high pressure, temperatures tend to be warm and rain chances slim. Temperatures might climb to near 90 degrees Thursday and Friday.
Our weather pattern will change to something more favorable for thunderstorms in time for the weekend. We’ll have to keep an eye out for a threat of severe thunderstorms Friday night into Saturday.
