WICHITA FALLS, Texas (TNN) - UPDATE: While already in jail, Laquinton Talbert has received two other charges.

He is now charged with Burglary of a Vehicle and Theft of a Firearm.

Talbert admitted to stealing credit cards and a gun from several vehicles in the 3900 block of Barnett Road between Sunday night and Monday morning. Police were able to recover the stolen gun.

ORIGINAL STORY: A Wichita Falls man is behind bars after police said he used a credit card that was reported stolen early Monday morning.

Police said Laquinton Talbert, 23, is charged with Credit Card Abuse after he used a stolen American Express card at a Wichita Falls Walmart to buy a big-screen TV and a PlayStation console.

The card was used just hours after it had been stolen. Police tracked Talbert down by using Walmart’s surveillance video.

Talbert remains in the Wichita County Jail as of Wednesday afternoon on a $5,000 bond for that charge.
