Semi-truck fire near McNeil and Callfield

WICHITA FALLS, Texas (TNN) - The semi-truck fire on McNiel Avenue in Wichita Falls that happened this afternoon brought traffic to a halt temporarily. Lanes shut down in both directions near Call Field Road while the mess was cleaned up. Those lanes have now reopened.
The driver was reported to have made it out of the vehicle unharmed.
Officials who investigated the incident say it was started by a mechanical failure.
