WICHITA FALLS, Texas (TNN) - Amnesty International at MSU hosted a rally for Breonna Taylor Thursday afternoon.
“I just wanted everyone else to speak their mind, speak from their heart, speak on how racial injustice, on how police violence affects them,” Amelia Wright, President of the Amnesty International chapter at MSU, said.
The event started at 3:30 p.m. in the Jesse Rogers Promenade on the MSU Texas campus.
The event was a commemoration of Breonna Taylor’s life as well as the other lives lost under similar circumstances.
Masks were required and signs in support of Breonna Taylor and BLM were encouraged.
The Black Student Union of MSU Texas was also part of this event.
