Hirschi football game postponed, Gainesville varsity team quarantines due to COVID-19 concerns
WICHITA FALLS, Texas (TNN) - Hirschi High School’s Thursday night football game against Gainesville has been postponed due to COVID-19 concerns.
The game was originally scheduled to be played at Memorial Stadium.
Hirschi Head Football Coach Antonio Wiley confirmed that the Huskies will not look for a new game for week 9, but instead will use this week as a rest week.

The virus concerns reportedly come from Gainesville High School.
According to Gainesville ISD, one of their high school football players has tested positive for COVID-19.
Their varsity football team immediately quarantined following the positive test result.
