WICHITA FALLS, Texas (TNN) - Montague County broke its record Tuesday for highest number of new COVID-19 cases reported in a single day and total number of active cases at one time, according to The Nocona News.

91 new COVID-19 cases were reported on Tuesday, bringing the county’s total up to 1,295 cases with 231 more being probable. 126 of those cases are active at this time.

Montague County has seen a total of 40 deaths and 1,386 recoveries.
