Firefighters fully contain grass fire near Olney

YOUNG COUNTY, Texas (TNN) - Multiple volunteer fire departments and the Texas A&M Forest Service responded to a grass fire near Olney on Thursday.

The fire has been 100% contained and was reported to be a size of 320 acres. The Forest Service says they reduced the acreage due to a more accurate mapping of the location.

The Forest Service named the incident the “Campbell Fire.”
