Jason Witten retiring from NFL, agrees to sign 1-day contract with Cowboys
Witten retires after spending 17 season in the NFL

WICHITA FALLS, Texas (TNN) - Dallas Cowboys veteran tight end Jason Witten is retiring from the NFL for the second time in 3 years.
Witten first hung up the pads following the 2017 season, but then picked up his helmet again and returned to the Cowboys for the 2019 season.
This time he has agreed to sign a 1-day contract with the Cowboys to announce his retirement.
