WICHITA FALLS, Texas (TNN) - Emily’s Legacy Rescue announced their city total numbers on Tuesday.

The rescue organization said they pulled 181 cats and 75 dogs from the city. They added their success was due to fosters willing to care.

Emily’s Legacy thanked the adopters, fosters and supporters for their help saving animals during COVID .

256 animals were reported saved this year, breaking their total last year by five.
