WATCH: Video shows fight before February Wichita Falls shooting

WICHITA FALLS, Texas (TNN) - VIDEO SHOWS ALLEGED FIGHT

News Channel 6 has obtained a video of the fight that reportedly led to a deadly shooting in Wichita Falls.

The video allegedly shows Charles Bolf pounding on Alton Dewayne Rhodes’ door.

A fight then spills outside; you can see Rhodes’ girlfriend, who is also Bolf’s daughter, begging and pleading for them to stop.

In the video, she also asks Rhodes where his gun is.

We can’t see what happens next but the affidavit states that after the fight ended, Rhodes, who was badly beaten, went back to his house, grabbed his handgun and shot Bolf on the sidewalk before shooting at the other two men in a car as they were trying to leave.

Wichita Falls police say Rhodes was yelling that he shot Bolf in self-defense when an officer arrived to the residence on Colleen Drive. The officer said he found Bolf bleeding from his head and neck.

While a police officer said he was rendering aid to Bolf, two men appeared on the scene: Joshua Mathis and Kenneth Hatch. Rhodes began to fight with Mathis and Hatch, which the officer said became “so confrontational that [he] had to stop rendering aid to [Bolf] and separate the three subjects.”

Rhodes was found to have “abrasions, contusions and swelling on his face and neck,” per the arrest affidavit.

Rhodes told officers at the time that a fight broke out when Bolf, Mathis and Hatch arrived at the house earlier that day. When the fight ended, the three men went to leave in a black SUV. Officers said that’s when Rhodes went back into the house and grabbed his handgun. The affidavit states Rhodes admitted to officers he shot at all three of the men as they fled.

After conducting interviews with Bolf’s daughter and two other witnesses, officers said they completed their investigation on April 15 and determined the shooting was not in self-defense.

Rhodes is currently sitting in Wichita County Jail on $600,000 bonds: $500,000 for the murder charge and $50,000 bonds for each count of aggravated assault.
