Wichita Falls Autism Awareness to host teen social
Wichita Falls Autism Awareness will host event at Maniac’s Mansion this Sunday.
WICHITA FALLS, Texas (KAUZ) - This Sunday, Wichita Falls Autism Awareness will host its first teen social.
The event will take place from 2-4 p.m. at Maniac’s Mansion in Downtown Wichita Falls. Maniac’s Mansion Owner, Marcus McGee, whose child is on the autism spectrum, said the hope is that this event will be the first of many more to come.
“Here, we want to make sure that they have at least one night where they can come out to, you know, to be themselves and parents can relax for a little bit,” McGee said.
The event is free, however, there are currently no more spots available. Wichita Falls Autism Awareness is encouraging parents to check their Facebook page in case there is a cancelation and a spot opens up.
If you would like to make a donation for the event, you can send an email to email@example.com.
