City of Wichita Falls hosts job fair
Looking for workers
WICHITA FALLS, Texas (KAUZ) - The City of Wichita Falls held a job fair Thursday in the Wichita Falls Public Library.
Applicants were able to have one-on-one interviews with employers and find out what their needs are. Employers attended the fair looking to hire on the spot.
“We wanna make sure everyone has options and that’s certainly what we offer. We also wanna make things convenient for our job seekers so that’s why we have interviews here. So, it’s almost like doing things in reverse. You come in, you get your interview done, you get a job offer then you put in an application through our website,” Brian Lester, Human Resource Supervisor for the City of Wichita Falls, said.
Lester said there are 90 jobs available in the city. Openings range from the police department, animal services and streets department.
