WICHITA FALLS, Texas (KAUZ) - The Wichita Falls Police Department is investigating a Burglary of a Habitation case that occurred on at MSU Texas.

According to the MSU Texas campus Police Department, the burglary occurred at 11:30 a.m. in one of the dorm rooms on campus.

The 19-year-old female victim reported she was in her dorm room when an unknown male entered. The victim was startled by the male but she was able to exit the room while still gathering a clothing description of the suspect.

Video footage confirmed the description given by the victim. The WFPD Crimes Against Persons Detectives were able to identify the suspect as 19-year-old Haeven Watson from San Antonio. Watson is also a student at MSU.

Officers of the WFPD Special Operations Unit arrested Watson later in the day. Watson was transported to the WFPD for questioning.

The detectives executed a search warrant at Watson’s apartment which is also on the MSU campus. A firearm was found in the apartment that was reported stolen in San Antonio, Texas.

Watson was transported to the WCSO jail where he was charged with Burglary of a Habitation and Theft of a Firearm.

Watson has been released on bond for both charges.
