Marilyn joined the KSWO team as a multimedia journalist in 2022.
Born in Altus but raised in Lawton, Marilyn graduated from Lawton High School in 2012 -- once a Wolverine, always a Wolverine! She then earned an associates degree in Strategic Communications from Cameron University. She is currently pursing a bachelor’s in Journalism and Media Production with a minor in Marketing and Spanish from Cameron as well.
Marilyn's media career when she went into radio in 2012. She moved into television when she joined KSWO in April of 2022 as a bilingual multimedia journalist. She loves how each story allows her to meet and hopefully help new people.
In her spare time, Marilyn enjoys hanging out with her two kids and baking.
