Born and raised in South Texas, Crystal is glad to call Wichita Falls home.

During the February Freeze of 2011, she worked with the Newschannel 6 team around the clock to alert Texomans about what was going on. Shifts were 12 hours, but enthusiasm high as everyone worked to get the news out. During those days Crystal shadowed a tow truck driver and mail carrier to find out how they were dealing with the freezing temperatures, all the while trying to keep warm herself!

Originally from Three Rivers, Crystal moved to San Antonio her junior year of high school. She bleeds burnt orange as a former University of Texas graduate. It was during college that she became very active in on campus media. She served as News Director for the student-run, student-produced television station, TSTV. She also served as the University Reporter for the local FOX affiliate, KTBC during her senior year and interned at YNN Austin.  She won many awards in college including a national SPJ award for a breaking news story and an RTDNA scholarship.  Crystal also spent six weeks studying abroad in Italy. Crystal was awarded Texas AP Broadcasters 2011 Best Reporter (Division 4).

She is a member of the Junior League, enjoys working out, attending church and traveling. You can reach her at or follow her @cvhall on Twitter.
