Police: 4 Calif. Deaths An Apparent Murder-Suicide

SAN DIEGO (AP) - Police say they've found evidence of a murder-suicide at a San Diego home where a family of four was found dead in a swimming pool and a bathtub.

San Diego police Lt. Ernie Herbert says investigators came to that determination after combing the home. They haven't identified a suspect and are still working to determine a motive for the
crime. Investigators also don't know exactly how the victims died.

The bodies were discovered early Tuesday by a relative visiting
the home.
Police identified the victims as 44-year-old Alfredo Pimienta; 38-year-old Georgina Pimienta; 17-year-old Priscilla Pimienta; and 9-year-old Emily Pimienta.

The discovery has stunned neighbors and friends, who described the four as a hard-working couple, a teenage daughter who was excited about prom and a younger girl who made friends easily.
