There has been a third hunting accident in Texoma.
Game Warden Matt Thompson confirmed a hunter was shot Friday morning along the Pease River in Hardeman County. Thompson says the hunter was shot with a hunting rifle and that he was mistaken for game.
Another hunting accident happened in Stephens County, Oklahoma. Officials say a son shot and killed his dad.
Investigators say it appears the father leaned a loaded rifle against a tree and his son picked it up. Officials say when the father went to take the rifle away from the son, it went off, instantly killing the father.
