The flu season is just around the corner and the Community Healthcare Center wants you to be prepared.

They are doing that with an adult walk-in clinic each Thursday though out the month of September.  The clinics will run from 2:00p.m. to 4:00p.m.

Newschannel 6 spoke with the clinical nurse director about the need to get vaccinated now.

Lovette Robinson, Clinical Nurse Director said, "The sooner that we can get our public taken care of and vaccinated, means the less people are going to get sick."

She also said this means fewer people will end up in the hospital or get bad side effects from getting the flu.

The cost for this year's flu vaccine is $30.  It's designed to protect against four different flu viruses.
