City Utility System Closed Temporarily

Wichita Falls utility customers will not be able to use the city’s online bill paying or IVR phone payment system for a few days.

City officials said the services won’t be available until October 6th.  This is when the new utility system will become active.

With the new system customers can go to the city’s website for payment and billing options.  Once you are on the home page, go to the left-hand column and click “Pay My Bill.”

Current e Statement customers must sign up for the new Citizen Self Service Module to access their account and make payments online.  Customers should take note of the following important dates:

  1. style="margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;text-autospace:none;">September 30th at 5:00p.m. the city’s current billing system will be taken down.  Utility customers should make arrangements to pay bills before the business closes on Wednesday.
  2. style="margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;text-autospace:none;">Utility Collections, located in the Municipal Auditorium, will be closed on October 1st, 2nd, and 5th.  They are expected to reopen on October 6th.  There will be no phone payments, walk up payments, online payments, or drive-thru service during those days.

No water cutoffs will take place while the office is closed.  If residents are unable to make a payment by September 30th, they should make a payment as soon as possible when the office reopens.
