WICHITA FALLS, TX (KAUZ) - A Wichita Falls man is behind bars charged with two counts of Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child.

The investigation into allegations of abuse began in mid-September when Child Protective Services contacted the Wichita Falls Police Department.

CPS officials said a 10-year-old boy said he had been sexually abused by Nelson Christopher Head, 48.

The child was taken to Patsy's House for a forensic interview. There the victim said he was sexually assaulted while in Head's care.

During medical follow-up exams, the victim gave similar details of sexual abuse to two different medical professionals.

On Saturday, October 14, Head was arrested and taken to the Wichita County Jail where he remains on a $500,000 bond.
