DUNCAN, OK (RNN Texoma) - The Main Street Duncan Car Cruise revved up the city's downtown Friday night.
The event did more than give people a chance to show off their rides.
It is also brought back some memories for people like Kay Hall.
She said the older cars from the 1950's take her to the good old days.
"Going around the courthouse, checking out the guys, all the good stuff," she said.
It is also about the history.
"They don't make them anymore, it's just cool to keep them alive," said Richard Wolfe.
That is what he is doing with his purple 1934 Ford 3-Stroker and his other baby at home.
"Well, I've got one at home, it's a 1955 Pontiac 2-door, hard-top," he said. "My wife and I got married 52 years ago and that's what we had."
So he got another one just like it.
"It's got memories," said Wolfe. "They always bring me memories."
While many took a trip down memory lane like Jerry Weddington, who just moved to Duncan a month ago.
"I enjoy seeing all the cars because I love cars, I loved them since I was a kid," said Wolfe.
A younger generation made their own.
Mylie and Maliki said they always come out to the car cruise and enjoy checking out the cars and spending time with their family.
