GRAHAM, Tx (RNN Texoma) - The downtown square in Graham was filled with red, white, and blue Wednesday for the "Graham Serving America" celebration.

Folks bared the heat for the annual parade with floats from several different clubs and organizations including a Vietnam War Tank.

People of all ages were able to let their patriotic minds flow with a sidewalk chalk contest.

There was something for everyone in the family to celebrate.

"Our families and our veterans coming together and celebrating fourth of July and the fact that we are still here in the park after lunchtime in the heat and still enjoying our time with one another is my favorite part," said Penny Berend, who brought her family to celebrate the event.

The three categories for the sidewalk chalk contest were kids, amateur, and professional.

The top prize for amateur was $100 and for professional $1,000
