WICHITA FALLS, Tx (RNN Texoma) - After months of uncertainty, the Lake Wichita Revitalization Committee can now move forward on the design phase of three of their shoreline improvement projects.
That's because on Tuesday Wichita Falls City Councilors passed a resolution to spend $398,000 on design firm Kimley-Horn to design a new Kemp Street Boat Ramp, Boardwalk and Pavilion, as well as Veteran's Memorial Plaza.
City leaders expect it to take the firm nine to 12 months to design the projects.
