WF leaders take next step in circle trail project

WICHITA FALLS, Tx (RNN Texoma) - Wichita Falls city leaders have taken the next step towards completing the circle trail.
On Tuesday the city council passed two resolutions to spend around $113,000 on an advanced funding agreement with TxDOT to complete the circle trail from Loop 11 to Lucy Park and along Lake Wichita.
Director of Public Works Russell Schreiber said now the city can move forward with matching two of their three grants from TxDOT and work on the rest of the project.
