After Hours Artwalk returns to downtown Wichita Falls

WICHITA FALLS, Texas (KAUZ) - The popular After Hours Artwalk returned to downtown Wichita Falls on Thursday evening, April 2, 2026.

Following Downtown Wichita Falls Development’s decision to no longer host the event, citizens and the city council stepped in to ensure the town-favorite event continued.

Thousands of people gathered between 7th and 8th Streets downtown, where dozens of artists, musicians, and food vendors served the crowds.

The event also featured a new vendor layout that kept similar vendors in the same locations, making it easier for attendees to navigate.

Thursday’s event kicked off the Artwalk season, which will be held on the first Thursday evening of every month through October. The only exception to that will be in July, when organizers say the temperatures get too hot.

Each After Hours Artwalk will start at 5:30 p.m. and run through around 9.
