WFISD Athletics announces the creation of its hall of fame

WICHITA FALLS, Texas (KAUZ) - Wichita Falls ISD (WFISD) Athletics announced Thursday that it is putting together a hall of fame honoring the top athletes from the organization’s entire history.

Ahead of the induction of its inaugural class, community members have been invited to submit nominations of people, including former athletes and coaches, who they believe significantly contributed to or impacted WFISD Athletics history.

People can submit a nomination through a form provided by the organization here. Multiple nominations are allowed, but a separate submission is required for each one. Nominations are encouraged to have additional information, such as accolades or honors, provided on the form upon submission.

The induction of WFISD Athletics’ first Hall of Fame class will take place on Friday, Nov. 6, ahead of the football game between Legacy and Memorial.
