WICHITA FALLS, Texas (KAUZ) - A Wichita Falls man has been booked into the Wichita County Jail after allegedly endangering two children and assaulting a woman.

Travontaye Miller was charged with two counts of endangering a child with criminal negligence in addition to an assault causing bodily injury charge.

According to court documents, officers were called to the 2700 block of Lebanon Road after a call of a woman being punched in the face while she was driving.

When on the scene, officers found a woman with scrapes on her right cheek and a large blister forming on her lip. The victim stated that she and Miller had an altercation while she was driving, where Miller had punched the computer screen in the vehicle and began shaking the steering wheel while she drove.

The victim told investigators that she pulled the car to the side of the road, where Miller began punching her in the face.

While the altercation took place in the vehicle, two juveniles were in the backseat. Officers shared that Miller’s actions of grabbing the steering wheel and shaking it violently put the two juveniles in danger, citing that the road they were on has many vehicles traveling fast.

Travontaye Miller was booked into the Wichita County Jail on a $15,000 total bond.
