Wreck on Hwy 287 diverts morning traffic

WICHITA FALLS, Texas (KAUZ) - Drivers were diverted off 287 near Peterson Road in Iowa Park, after what appears to be a wreck involving at least one car and a motorcycle.

News Channel 6 crews on the scene reported one lane of 287 N was closed.

Several agencies, including DPS, WSCO, Iowa Park PD, and Wichita West Fire, responded to this wreck.

According to the Wichita County Sheriff’s Office, all drivers involved are alive and were taken to the hospital. WCSO believes the bright sun to have caused the wreck.
