Wichita Falls residents dealing with spate of power outages

10:20 p.m. UPDATE: Oncor has removed one major outage, previously showing as affecting over 1,000 customers, from its outage map. There is one major outage still showing on the map as affecting just under 900 customers.

WICHITA FALLS, Texas (KAUZ) - Problems caused by bitter cold temperatures across the area may now be exacerbated by a rash of power outages.

According to Oncor’s outage map, over 1,900 customers in Wichita Falls are without power. The outages showed primarily in areas around Kemp and Midwestern Parkway. Another outage, affecting an additional 88 customers, showed on the outage map east of Olney.
