WICHITA FALLS, Texas (KAUZ) - A former general manager for the Patterson Auto Group is no longer facing charges for sexual assault.

Court records indicated Steve Duran’s charges were dismissed Wednesday by a grand jury in Wichita county.

The same court records said the case was “no billed,” meaning the grand jury determined there was not enough evidence to convict him or hold a trial.

Duran was arrested by Wichita Falls police on Jan. 27, 2022 and charged with four counts of sexual assault.

WFPD reports the arrest came after police reports from December 2021 alleging Duran would coerce and sexual assault woman employees at his place of work.

On Jan. 28, 2022, News Channel 6 was issued a statement by Patterson Auto Group, stating Duran was no longer employed by the auto dealer.
