Grubbs acquires Herb Easley Mazda location in Wichita Falls
WICHITA FALLS, Texas (KAUZ) - The Grubbs Family of Dealerships in Wichita Falls is welcoming Herb Easley Mazda into its showroom, transitioning its operations into Grubbs Mazda of Wichita Falls.
Miah Bradbury, the General Manager of Mazda Store Wichita Falls, said that their dealership has been in business in Texas for over 77 years. He believes that transitioning to Herb’s Easley Mazda of Wichita Falls presents an opportunity to give back to the residents of Wichita Falls. This move allows the Grubbs family, who owns the dealership, to continue serving the community.
“We bought the dealerships, I believe it was March of 2025, so we’re new here again and getting acquainted with the community,” Bradbury said. “One of our partners is from Wichita Falls; he was excited to come back home and, again, give back to the community that helps us out.”
Bradbury said that the recent relocation did not impact the former employees of Herb Easley Mazda. However, the new location is providing benefits by offering more services to customers in our community.
“I believe Herb Easley kept its employees; we did get a technician that was a part of it,” he explained. “One of the Mazda’s master technicians came with us as part of the purchase agreement, so we have someone skilled at diagnosing/repairing vehicles to help us out, as we’re growing that service/business again to get out to the community and make sure we’re available to them.”
He said that now that they have relocated to their new location, Grubbs Mazda of Wichita Falls, the business will experience greater growth. He mentioned that they purchased the franchise from Herb Easley, but they are uncertain about what will happen to the building where Herb Easley once operated.
“That happens in communities. We want to grow our footprint here in Wichita Falls, so it was a logical choice for us to look for a franchise that is a performance-based franchise to go along with what we have now, and frankly, we feel like maybe the Mazda brand was underserved here in the community,” Bradbury said.
The new transition represents an exciting opportunity for the Grubb’s family dealership and the customers who have been part of their growth and expansion with new Mazda products in their market.
“Everybody here is super excited about the opportunity to represent the Mazda product. Our partnership with Mazda has been wonderful in getting this kind of launch going; the employees, they’re excited about it,” Bradbury said. “I believe customers are going to be excited about it.”
Bradbury emphasized that they are privileged to be a part of the Wichita Falls community. They believe in building relationships with their customers and look forward to forming those connections, not just through selling a car, but through everyday life.
The new Grubbs Mazda of Wichita Falls is located at 315 Central East Fwy.
