Parent reacts to Proposition 15 ahead of Election Day

WICHITA FALLS, Texas (KAUZ) -Voters across Texas are weighing in on Proposition 15.

“The constitutional amendment affirming that parents are the primary decision makers for their children.”

If passed, Wichita Falls ISD could possibly be impacted with new oversight and standards for their students. We spoke to a parent who said the wording on the ballot is unclear on what it’s aiming for.

Streeter said part of her concern comes from how much is done locally, school districts like WFISD have worked hard to have open communications with families, such as the upcoming school merger.

Early voting runs through Friday with Election Day falling on November 4th.
