WICHITA FALLS, Texas (KAUZ) - The classic Mannheim Steamroller sound is coming to Texoma.

Known for its familiar holiday favorites and distinctive musical style, the group’s performances have been a Christmas tradition for decades.

For musician Roxanne Layton, taking the stage means more than just performing, especially when Mannheim Steamroller brings together 15 musicians playing more than 20 instruments.

“Traditions are the threads that connect us through time. They remind us of where we’ve been and give the next generation something to carry forward,” Layton said.

Founded and create by Chip Davis, Mannheim Steamroller blends classical, rock and modern influences, building a sound that has become a holiday staple for generations.

Paired with eye-catching multimedia effects, the show brings the spirit of the season to life, creating an experience that feels both immersive and personal.

“When you go to a live concert, you get the performance and the energy of the musicians. You put a face and an instrument to what you’ve been hearing for a long time. I’ve been in the band for 30 years, and I’ve seen generations come year after year. It’s heartwarming. We’re grateful. We wouldn’t be here without the audience,” Layton said.

After thousands of miles on the road and a continued mission to spread holiday cheer, Layton said those moments on stage still give her chills, a feeling she hopes audiences experience firsthand.

“We believe in the power of music, it’s a universal language. It doesn’t matter where you’re from or what you speak, you can feel it. That’s what makes music so special,” Layton said.
