Atmos Energy to conduct natural gas surveys in Wichita Falls

WICHITA FALLS, Texas (KAUZ) - The City of Wichita Falls has shared that Atmos Energy will be in Wichita Falls and the surrounding areas conducting routine safety surveys of the natural gas system.

Atmos Energy SUVs will be in the area with flashing lights labeled Atmos Energy or Utility Contractor driving slowly through streets and alleys—primarily at night.

According to the City of Wichita Falls, the Atmos Energy SUVs use advanced leak detection technology to help keep the natural gas system safe.

The surveys will begin on Tuesday, January 6, at 7:00 p.m. and are estimated to end on Saturday, January 10.
