GasBuddy reports prices have risen in recent weeks

WICHITA FALLS, Texas (KAUZ) - According to GasBuddy’s survey of over 13,000 stations in Texas, the average gasoline prices in Texas have risen 5.9 cents per gallon in the last week.
GasBuddy said the average prices in Texas are 13.5 cents per gallon higher than a month ago and stand 2.4 cents per gallon lower than a year ago.
According to GasBuddy price reports, the cheapest station in Texas was priced at $1.89/g yesterday, while the most expensive was $3.49/g, a difference of $1.60/g.

GasBuddy has shared the historical gasoline prices in Texas and the national average going back five years:
- March 2, 2025: $2.58/g (U.S. Average: $3.04/g)
- March 2, 2024: $2.91/g (U.S. Average: $3.34/g)

- March 2, 2022: $3.33/g (U.S. Average: $3.69/g)
