Sealed bids become available for grazing and hunting leases at local lakes

WICHITA FALLS, Texas (KAUZ) - The City of Wichita Falls Property Management Department has announced that potential buyers can now start picking up sealed bid packages for commercial grazing leases at Lake Arrowhead and commercial grazing and hunting leases at Lake Kickapoo.

All bids are due at 1:30 p.m. on March 24, 2026, with the bid to open at 2:00 p.m. Successful bidders will be able to enter into a new lease with the City upon approval of the City Council.

Packages are available for pickup at the office of Property Administration, Room 800, located at 719 Scott Avenue. For more information on the properties, visit the Property Administration website.
