OBI’s new lotto-themed campaign encourages blood donors to ‘strike gold’

WICHITA FALLS, Texas (KAUZ) - Luck is in the air as Our Blood Institute in Wichita Falls (OBI) begins its March blood donation campaign, giving successful donors the chance to win exciting prizes.

OBI said that every donor who successfully donates will receive a lottery-style scratcher for a chance to win any of the following:

• $100 Visa Gift Card
•  $50 Visa Gift Card
• A Movie Ticket
• Grocery Credit

In addition to the lotto scratcher, donors will also receive a limited-edition basketball-themed T-shirt.

This campaign will be available from Saturday, March 14, through Sunday, March 22, at the Our Blood Institute in Wichita Falls or any of their mobile donor centers.

OBI shared that the spring break season can be a challenging time to maintain the blood supply, as many regular donors are traveling or away from their normal routines.
