Wichita County Sheriff’s Office holds Citizens Academy Alumni golf tournament

WICHITA FALLS, Texas (KAUZ) - The Wichita County Sheriff’s Office will be hosting its annual Citizens Academy Alumni Golf Tournament on April 24 at the Champions Course at Weeks Park.
The tournament will be in four-person scramble format. Registration for the entire event, including lunch, dinner, awards, goodie bags, and door prizes as well as a silent auction, will take place at 12:00 noon with the event to start at 1:00 p.m.
Awards will be given to the first, second, and third place teams. Prizes include a $10,000 cash hole-in-one, Bushnell Range Finder Package, Omaha Steaks for a Year, and a $500 gift card. Participants can also receive prizes for their individual golf games, with contests for “Closest to the Pin,” “Long Drive,” and “Straightest Drive.”
A “Closest to the Pin” contest will take place at holes #3 and #8, with the winner receiving a wedge. Another contest of the same name will take place at holes #11 and #13, with the winner receiving a putter. The “Long Drive” contest will take place at holes #7 and #18; the winner will receive a driver. The “Straightest Drive” contest winner at hole #5 will also receive a driver.
