Elderly victim identified in Monday night multi-vehicle wreck on US 281

UPDATE: The victim in this wreck has been identified as 79-year-old Vicki Windham from Wichita Falls.

ARCHER COUNTY, Texas (KAUZ) - Archer County deputies confirmed one person is dead and multiple others are injured after a wreck Monday night.

ACSO told our crew on the scene that three SUV’s and one semi-truck were involved in the crash on US 281 near FM 1954.

Multiple agencies were on scene, including the Archer County Sheriff’s Office, TxDOT, Texas DPS, Bowman Volunteer Fire Department, and Wichita County Sheriff’s Office.
