Clouds begin to break up this afternoon

WICHITA FALLS, Texas (KAUZ) - Good morning, Texoma!

Temperature this morning are starting mostly in the upper-50s with mostly cloudy skies. We also have a few light showers across parts of the area.

These rain chances are only going to stick around for the morning hours. Any showers that do pop up this morning will be very light. Heading into the second half of the day we’ll drop the shower chances and begin to see clouds break up some. We’ll deal with partly cloudy this afternoon along with highs around 80 degrees. Wichita Falls should top out at 81 degrees.

Tomorrow will be mostly sunny with highs in the low-80s.

Rain still looks likely close to Halloween. The bulk of the rain is expected to arrive on Friday, but a stray shower or two is possible during the first half of Saturday. Trick-or-treating still looks to be in good shape - just cool.
