Today will be the warmest day of the week with highs in the 90s across most of Texoma. Wildfire danger is critically high with strong winds and low humidity. This will be especially serious west of Lawton and Wichita Falls today where drought is severe. A cold front comes through tonight delivering north winds tomorrow and a cooler day with highs in the 70s. Thursday will be the most pleasant day weather wise with lighter winds, sunny skies and highs in the 70s. We're still confident in decent rain chances Friday night into Saturday with a stout storm system sweeping through the southern plains. While strong thunderstorms are possible, widespread severe weather looks unlikely.
