Hirschi teacher wins spotlight award

WICHITA FALLS, Texas (KAUZ) - Wichita Falls ISD and News Channel 6 award Rebecca Buck the March Teacher Spotlight Award.

Mrs. Buck is a math teacher at Hirschi High School.

Mrs. Buck has been teaching for around 15 years and is a Hirschi graduate. She strives to empower her students with their math skills and quantitative analysis but then goes even further as she is the Student Council sponsor.

Mrs. Buck has led her student leaders through festivities like Homecoming and giving back via her recent Penny Wars for breast cancer research. She has a smile for everyone she meets with an open heart and helping hands too! She is an essential member of the pack at HHS and WFISD can be proud to call her one of their very own teacher leaders.
