WICHITA FALLS, Texas (KAUZ) - Goodin Plumbing, a family-owned business offering general repair and restoration services, has expanded its space in Wichita Falls.

Owner J.C. Goodin said his business has been part of the community for a long time, as his father started it over 35 years ago in 1993.

The expansion comes after a grant from winning the i.d.e.a. Wichita Falls competition for entrepreneurs. The money has allowed them to expand their services and draw in more client projects, including a plumbing project for the Career Education Center in Petrolia.

This grant will also enable them to hire more employees and acquire better equipment.

“We’re tankless certified in all the tankless water heater certifications,” said Goodin. “All of our techs are trained to either install, repair, replace all the tankless units that we have in town [that] we just recently acquired through that Wichita Falls program. We won a grant for that and we were able to get leak detection equipment, so we’ve implemented that into the field.”

He continues on to say that their focus is on getting the customer everything they need right here in Wichita Falls.
