WICHITA FALLS, Texas (KAUZ) - Former Wichita Falls city manager Jeffrey Jenkins was arrested Wednesday on a warrant for stalking, a third-degree felony under Texas law, according to the Wichita Falls Police Department.

According to police, a woman reported that Jenkins repeatedly contacted her through multiple avenues, including social media messages, phone calls and in-person contact.

Following an investigation, Wichita Falls Police Department detectives said they established probable cause based on the evidence gathered and obtained an arrest warrant for Jenkins.

Jenkins was taken into custody without incident.

The investigation remains ongoing. Police said no further information is available for release at this time.

The City of Wichita Falls has released a statement on Jenkins’ arrest:

“The City takes its use of taxpayer dollars and its responsibility to the people of Wichita Falls seriously. As part of this commitment, we will review Mr. Jenkins’ Separation Agreement and pursue every appropriate legal remedy available.

Because Mr. Jenkins is a private citizen and this is an ongoing criminal matter, the City will have no further comment on his arrest.

Any further questions should be directed to the WFPD or the District Attorney’s Office."

Jenkins served as the city’s manager before his resignation became effective Sept. 1, 2026. The city accepted his resignation in August. In September, the city released details about an investigation into Jenkins.

The investigation centered around communications between former Wichita Falls city manager Jeffrey Jenkins and a woman identified only as “Jane Doe.”
