AAA Texas reports gas prices drop alongside crude oil costs

TEXAS (KAUZ) - According to AAA Texas, Texas drivers are seeing some relief at the pump as gasoline prices continue trending downward.

The decrease comes as crude oil prices have retreated into the upper $80 to lower $90 per barrel range, helping ease pressure on pump prices.

AAA Texas reports that while gasoline remains more expensive than a year ago and prices may fluctuate with the approaching Thanksgiving holiday, lower crude oil costs could provide relief for motorists in the coming days.

The statewide gas price average in Texas is $3.58 for a gallon of regular unleaded fuel, which is 12 cents less than on this day last week and 94 cents more per gallon compared to this day last year.
